any dorm you live in, you have to make it your own experience. not all people are as boring as this person seems. so what if you want to live in tenaya and party, that's part of being in college. the first year is where you make (most of) the friends you will make for the rest of your college life.

live it up.

and there was no cerro vista for me as a freshman... damn these kids are spoiled!

Yeah, but it's a good thing that there wasn't Cerro when we were freshmen; Cerro would make it harder to meet people and walking it really sucks.

Exactly! That's one great thing about Cal Poly, the social diversity of the student body. There's positives and negatives to anywhere. And while I did warn freshmen who aren't into the whole drinking thing against Tenaya (I may be a bit biased, one of my best friends is super religious and was pretty dissappointed with her freshman year experience - she blames it on Tenaya), there's tons of people that love it there! It really depends on what your idea of the ideal college experience is.
